The terms and the privacy policy, in plain words.

Who you are dealing with. Angerfish Audio sells the plugins on this site. Purchases are processed by Moonbase, our checkout and licence provider, which also handles payment and issues your receipt.

What you buy. A personal, non-transferable licence to install and use the plugin on machines you own or control, for as long as you like. You activate each machine once. The licence is for one person; a studio with several people buys one licence per person who uses it.

What you may not do. Resell, rent, or share the licence or licence files; remove or defeat the activation; or redistribute the installers.

Demo. The browser demo on this site is free, runs entirely on your device, and may be used without an account for any purpose.

Refunds. Within 30 days of purchase, on request, for any reason. Email support from the purchase address with your order number. A refunded licence stops working on each machine the next time the plugin checks in online.

Updates. Minor updates are free for the life of the product. Major versions are paid, at about half the list price for existing owners. Your current version keeps working whether or not you upgrade.

If we stop trading. Machines you have already activated keep working without our servers. Activating a new machine goes through Moonbase, so keep your installers and activate the machines you rely on.

Warranty. The software is provided as is. We test it in the hosts listed on each product page, and we fix reported bugs, but we do not promise that it is free of defects or that it will work in every host, with every hosted plugin, or on every system. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the price you paid.

Third-party plugins. EchoHost hosts other manufacturers' plugins inside it. Those plugins are governed by their own licences, and we are not responsible for how they behave.

Changes. If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. Changes never take away a licence you have already bought.

This website. The site is static and sets no cookies of its own. It runs no analytics and no tracking scripts. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, page requested, time) for its own operation. The typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads. Video on the product page is embedded from YouTube in its no-cookie mode and loads only when you press play.

The browser demo. Runs entirely in your browser. No audio you play through it, and nothing you do with it, is sent anywhere.

Buying. Checkout is handled by Moonbase. It collects your email address, payment details and billing country to process the order, and creates an account for you under your purchase email so that your downloads and licences have somewhere to live. Angerfish Audio sees your email address, the order, and the country; we never see your card. Moonbase's own privacy policy applies to what it holds.

Activation. When a plugin activates, it sends Moonbase an identifier for the machine, the plugin name and version, so that the licence can be tied to that machine and counted. After activation the plugin does not need a connection to run. It checks in online when it can, to learn whether the licence is still valid.

Support email. If you write to us, we keep the conversation so that we can answer follow-ups. We do not add you to a mailing list. There is no mailing list.

Your rights. Email support@angerfishaudio.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Deleting the account that holds your licences means the licences go with it, so we will confirm before doing that.
